The Escobilla Editions are close looks at one of the important aspects of accompanying the footwork section - the Escobilla - of any danced Palo. In addition to being very useful for those who want to accompany dance, learning how to play the Escobilla is a great way to improve your compás and to get a fuller understanding of a given Palo. Even if your focus is on playing solo guitar or accompanying Cante, being familiar with the Escobillas is an important part of being a well-rounded guitarist and will inform other aspects of your playing.
