Hey Kai. I can’t get my ears around the Chord in the 10th Compás, first line of p.3, beat 4. It sounds very dissonant and it doesn’t seem to match what you play on the tutorial video. Is it correct? Thanks.

Hey Mark - good catch (and Sorry)! This one's on me, as the chord is right in the notation but the TABS really screwed it up and I didn't catch it. I'm out of town at the moment but will correct as soon as I get back. For now, the correct chird should be - starting from the fifth string - 4, 6 0, 6, 0. So it's the same shape as the Bb with the open 3rd and 1st string just played at the fourth fret. And it is indeed dissonant, which is why I didn't even notice that when I really play it I basically mute those open strings with my left hand.
Apologies again and thanks for noticing that for me! If my explanation didn't make sense please let me know!
Cheers,
Kai
Thanks. As I look more closely, I think the problem is with the notation. The notes are written as (low to high): Db, G, Ab, E, F.
Thanks for fixing it. The site and all the materials - the app and book- are really amazing resources. I am learning a lot and getting great enjoyment out of playing the lessons. There is nothing else out there that even comes close to FlamenconExpalined in regard to quality and comprehensive approach to the art of flamenco guitar.
