I have a few quick questions about Seguirilla. Between the Survival Guide, the two Friday Falsetas, and a little material from other sources, I feel like I can play an acceptable Seguirilla, with only one major problem... I don't know how to stop!! There isn't a 10 beat, so I can't fall back to just "End of 10." Like I would with other Palos. What are the "rules" for ending a Seguirilla?

Also- the Escobilla section feels a little short. This is fine for solo guitar, but if I was playing for dance, would it be acceptable to repeat my escobilla phrase, or play it back to back with a similar section/variation? Or could I play escobilla, play something else (compas, llamada, falseta, ect) and then come back and play more escobilla? Or is that a no-no? Somehow I got it into my head that playing multiple escobilla phrases with breaks between them in acceptable in Solea, but not Alegrais. No idea whether or not that's true- but if it is, which is true for Seguirilla?

Seguirillas typically ends right on beat 5, so the simplest thing would be to play a llamada, all on the A chord, and end on a strong 5. In the Survival Guide I play one at 2:16, and the only difference between that one and one you might use to end a piece is that you'd sort of play it with more conviction to end the piece!
As for the escobilla, yes to basically all of what you said. You can simply repeat the falseta or play any other falseta that feels like an escobilla in that it provides a really clear pulse for the dancer. You can also just play compas, but in that case you might want to make sure you 'fill in' the compas rather than just playing the accents, again because you're trying to provide a pulse.
In the Alegrias the same applies, but the reason it can be weird to go back and forth between 'normal' compás and escobilla is that the phrasing is a little different in the escobilla, so it's probably safer to stick to the escobilla material you have. As you begin to really feel the difference between the two you'll know when it's appropriate to play what stuff!
