Having recorded more than 1500 guitar videos, I thought I’d share some of the stuff I’ve learned over the years about how to record nylon string guitars. The first section deals with what to think about when recording in mono (one microphone), and the second half of the video looks at some relatively simple stereo techniques (two microphones) including XY, spaced pair, and AB.
