This compás loop is a very simple 12-beat compás suitable for Soleá por Buleria and Alegrias, or for a very fast Soleá or a slow Buleria. This version has a metronome click with accents on beats 6 and 8 to help you find your way in the compás. There is no variation in the compás, so if you can train yourself to hear the compás you should be able to lock in and get used to playing with the accompaniment of Palmas and cajón. It may not be the most interesting loop in the world, but its purpose is to help you hear the compás and not to be interesting! Once you get used to hearing the compás you can try the version with the accents on the 7 and 8 (instead of 6 and 8) or the version with no click at all.
